Gates Ranch is an easy drive. Take US 290 non-stop to Chappell Hill. Turn north at the stop light onto FM 1155 and go to the “T” intersection. Turn right, and continue east on FM 1155 for about five miles. Gates Ranch is just past Doe Run, at the intersection of FMs 1155 and 2726.
